Paul Huttenhower, 53, of Glenwood Springs passed away Sept. 4, 2011.
Paul was born on Nov. 20, 1957 to Roseanne and Richard Huttenhower in McKeesport, PA. He moved to the Roaring Fork Valley 21 years ago where he raised his two sons, Paul and Luke. He was a loving and charismatic man, and a wonderful father, brother, son, uncle and friend to his family and all the characters that he met along the way. He is so loved by all and will be missed greatly.
Paul is survived by his two sons Luke and Paul; fiance Barbara and her daughters Emily and Ruby; mom Rose; brothers Rich and Bill; sisters Dee and Nancy; nephews Billy, Gregory, Davis and Teddy Jack; and niece Katie.
There will be a celebration of Paul’s life held on Saturday, Sept. 10 at 11 a.m. in Sopris Park in Carbondale. There will be music and enjoyment is encouraged. Bring a chair a pot luck dish any stories you’d like to share.

Basalt town government officials learned from Waste Management that it will require a $120,000 subsidy to keep a recycling drop-off site in Willits operating in 2020. That’s double the subsidy of last year. It reflects the depressed market for recycled materials.
