Paula June Bowman

Paula June Bowman was born in Aspen on Nov. 27, 1981, to Linda and Jack Bowman. She died Saturday, April 23, in an automobile accident. She was 23 years old.Paula’s family moved to Carbondale in 1983, where they currently reside. Paula graduated from Roaring Fork High School in 2000.She loved hanging out with her family, friends and her two dogs. She enjoyed cooking as a hobby. She loved the outdoors, attending her brother Jake’s athletic events and being with her sister, Lizzie.She was a very loving, caring young lady who left this world too soon.Paula is survived by her parents, Jack and Linda Bowman, sister Lizzie, and brother Jake, all of Carbondale; grandmother Louise Bowman, of Kansas City, Mo.; step-grandmother Mary Lou Bowman, of Bedford, Iowa; uncle Mark Bowman of Kansas City; and her beloved dogs, Fatty and Star.She is preceded in death by her uncle Jerry Bowman, grandparents Roberta and Bart Barstow and grandfather Jack Bowman.Services will be at noon Thursday, April 28, at the Methodist Church in Carbondale. All family and friends are invited to attend.Immediately following the services, there will be a celebration of her life at the Carbondale Firehouse. Potluck dishes are requested.In lieu of flowers and gifts, donations can be made to the Paula Bowman Memorial Fund at Alpine Bank in Carbondale.
