The western Garfield County community was all blue Friday.
Coal Ridge soccer, preparing to play Colorado Academy in the 3A state championship game on Saturday in Colorado Springs, was ceremonially escorted out of town by the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office. Also helping properly send off the Titans included cheering community members, teachers and fellow students.
The game is slated for noon Saturday at Weidner Field, home of the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC. Catch the game at http://www.nfhsnetwork.com.
