Please obey Cattle Creek stop sign

Dear Editor,

I’d like to start by stating that I live at the bottom of Cattle Creek Road and Highway 82. This letter is addressed to all you fine folks that live, work, and travel Cattle Creek Road. As you are heading towards Highway 82 by Funland, there is a stop sign. For those of you who aren’t sure . STOP MEANS STOP. This doesn’t mean you just disregard the stop sign. This intersection is a 6 way intersection when you count people entering and exiting onto Highway 82. There is a road ADJACENT to Cattle Creek Road running up towards CMC. This Road DOES NOT have a stop sign as their view is blinded by the hill between their road and yours. There is also a frontage road whose view is also blocked by this same hill. Like I said, I live at the bottom of Cattle Creek, and in the six months that I have lived here, I have almost hit 20 vehicles running that stop sign, while I was entering or exiting the interstate. Please be more aware as someone is going to be injured because someone can’t wait 5 measly seconds.

Thank You,

John P. Foley
