Police seek information following robbery at Glenwood Springs Mall

Glenwood Springs police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in a robbery at the Glenwood Springs Mall on Nov. 1, a GSPD news release states.

Shortly after 7 p.m. Nov. 1, officers contacted a female victim who stated she had been robbed by a man who approached her with a knife and demanded money. The suspect injured the woman and took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing on foot. The woman’s injuries were not life-threatening, the release states.

“Officers are actively seeking video surveillance and/or witnesses related to this incident. Suspect is described as a Hispanic male, mid 20s in age, thin build, 5’6″, black hoodie, gray or dark jeans, and a snowboard facemask,” the release states.



Anyone with eye-witness accounts or video surveillance that might have captured the incident are encouraged to call Glenwood Springs Police at its non-emergent line at 970-384-6500. Anyone with an emergency should call 911.
