Bertilio Garcia scored two goals and Sean Ryan, Cody Rewinkel, Jerson Orellana and Willy Salamanca all scored goals as Basalt scored a 6-0 boys soccer win over visiting Rifle on Tuesday.

The Longhorns improved to 5-0 overall with the win, while the Bears dropped to 2-3-1.

Colorado Rocky Mountain School outlasted crosstown rival Roaring Fork in overtime on Tuesday, 4-3.



The win bumped host CRMS to 3-2 overall. The Rams dipped to 2-3 in defeat.

Delta erupted for five runs in the second inning and seven in the third to bury Rifle’s softball team, 17-7, on Tuesday.



The Bears fell to 6-4 with the road loss. Delta improved to 5-7.
