PEACH VALLEY, Colorado – Alicia Cokley scored a pair of goals and Sydney Wright and Kourtney Mitchell each chipped in with a score as Coal Ridge’s girls soccer team blanked visiting Rifle on Tuesday, 4-0.

Chelsie Ryan had a pair of assists to lift the Titans to a 3-0-1 overall record. Kelsey Fauser and Brianna Rhodes also had helpers

Coal Ridge held a 1-0 lead at halftime before breaking the game open in the second half.

The Bears dropped to 0-6-0 with the loss.

PARACHUTE, Colorado – A big first half lifted Roaring Fork’s girls soccer team to a 4-1 win at Grand Valley on Monday.

The Rams (2-2-0) scored three first-half goals to build an early lead. The Cardinals dropped to 1-4-0 with the loss.

GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colorado – Tuesday’s girls tennis match between Glenwood Springs and Roaring Fork was postponed due to weather. A makeup date was not known at press time.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colorado – Glenwood Springs finished first among Class 4A schools at Monday’s Tiger Invitational, held at Bookcliff Country Club in Grand Junction.

Kelsey Warkentin and Carrie Keller shot rounds of 98 to lead the Demons to a team score of 297. Haley Peterson’s 101 rounded out the score.

Montrose and Moffat County followed Glenwood in the 4A team standings.

The Demons finished fourth among all the schools in Grand Junction on Monday.
