Program immersed teens in joys of river-running

Dear Editor,This letter is to acknowledge the generosity of Colorado Canoe & Kayak, in conjunction with the Buddy Program, for sponsoring Ayla Angelo in the Teen Week kayaking program.Ayla had so much fun with your instructors Noah, Brian and Jim, and bonded quickly and strongly with the eight teens. Besides the wonderful new skills she acquired with her boat and running the river, she was sad that the class had to end. She’s missing all the camaraderie. As her parents, we are especially excited that Ayla has found a new passion in her young life. We can’t wait for kayaking season next summer, and we are grateful that your scholarship made this introduction possible. Thanks so very much,Conan and Terry AngeloAyla AngeloAspen
