Proposal stinks

Dear Editor,

A local group calling themselves an alliance wants to put a mechanical nose in the city of Parachute. May I suggest a better location for the sniffer?

Put it about halfway between the soda ash plant and the road-blocking gate up Parachute Creek. This area is occupied by a large number of wild and domestic animals who discharge methane gas in large quantities, not to mention the digested, excreted vegetable matter drying and decaying in the hills and pastures.

There must be a better use for our tax money than this nose and the cost of monitoring it.

Thanks for listening.
