When and why did you join the military? I joined July 2003, I wanted to do my part to support America.What is your job in the military? Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD)What did you do before joining the military? High SchoolWhere have you been deployed and which was your favorite location? Once to Afghanistan and once to Iraq. Afghanistan was my favorite, I was stationed in the mountains and having beautiful scenery helps the days go by.What was your deployment experience like? My experience was good, I was glad to see the Iraqis taking control and relying on the U.S. support less.What military experience most surprised you? My first deployment, having never done anything like it, it was hard to imagine what to expect.What do you like to do in your spare time? Anything outdoors, hunting, fishing, hiking.As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? Police officer.What are you looking forward to doing while in Glenwood Springs? I am looking forward to skiing.What are your future plans in the military?
