When did you join the military?I actually joined the service in 1983.What did you do before joining the military? I held several jobs before coming back into the army.Where have you been deployed and which location did you like the most? I was deployed to Iraq in 2004 through 2005. I like the people I served with the most.What was your deployment experience like?The deployment was very different, I met a variety of different soldiers and civilians from all over the country.What military experience most surprised you, good or bad? I like living overseas in Germany, you meet different people and I like their culture.What do you like to do in your spare time?I like riding my Harley Davidson.As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?I was going to join the Navy.Best piece of advice you’ve ever received:Never give up. Keep on trying.What are you looking forward to doing while in Glenwood Springs?Just relax and have a good time before I deploy, again.What are your future plans in the military?Retire from the military.Tell our readers something about you or your family that not very many people know.I don’t look, or act, my age.
