Ralph Dale Kendall

Ralph Dale Kendall, of Hotchkiss, died on Sunday, Jan. 9, 2005, at Delta County Memorial Hospital. He was 74.Mr. Kendall was a coal miner with U.S. Steel for 35 years. He also did braiding and saddle and tack work.He is survived by his wife, Lillian Kendall, of Hotchkiss; two sons: Mick Kendall, of Paonia; and Bill Kendall and his wife Shelby, of Palisade; five brothers: Art Kendall; Darrell Butch Kendall and his wife, Delores; Lee Kendall and his wife, Lou; Delbert Kendall and his wife, Georgie; and Wayne Kendall; five sisters: Helen Littlefield; Eunice Davis and her husband, Houston Hoot; Ethel Burns; Ruth Long and her husband, Cecil; and Frances Lee Kendall; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.Memorial contributions may be made to Hotchkiss Elks Lodge #1807, P.O. Box 96, Hotchkiss, CO 81419.Taylor Funeral Service & Crematory handled the arrangements. A memorial service was held at Hotchkiss Elk Lodge #1807 on Friday, Jan. 14.
