Readers’ New Year’s Resolutions

Our appeal to readers to share their New Year’s Resolutions for 2012 yielded these responses:

I resolve to brush my dogs’ teeth on a regular basis.

To slow down, enjoy the details of life and turn any negatives into positives. I plan to reconnect with my inner self by putting more healthy foods in my body, continue with a healthy exercise regimen, and put healthy thoughts into my mind. Peace!

To remember, every day in 2012, to express encouragement or gratitude to someone involved with giving or receiving education in the Roaring Fork and Colorado River valley communities – teachers, students, supporting staff, parents, school board members, administrators and volunteers. I am a recent arrival and feel very fortunate to be living in a community with such community spirit.

I resolve and intend to do my very best, honoring that my best changes from day to day, and to remember and act from the core of my true identity. I am the embodiment of spirit, and I share this with the world. I am love, courage and faith.
