Wow, thank you St. Regis Hotel in Aspen. On behalf of the Habitat for Humanity ReStore of the Roaring Fork Valley and the families we serve, we would like to thank the St. Regis Hotel in Aspen for its generous furniture donations over the past few months coming out of their extensive remodel. Thanks to the hotel’s generosity, we have been able to raise tens of thousands of dollars to build homes for families in need of a hand up here in Roaring Fork Valley.Over the past few months, the store has been packed with enthusiastic customers, and more wonderful St. Regis items are again in stock. The hotel donated a wide range of furniture, including desks, dressers, beautiful couches, large leather chairs and mattresses/head boards. Another big thank you to our friends Olde Towne Moving & Storage for helping with moving some of the furniture.I have spent six months volunteering my time as part of VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America), and I am amazed by the incredible generosity in this area. It has been an experience that far exceeds my expectations and hopes. What an impressive and caring community. It is great that the St. Regis kept the items here in the valley to benefit the local purchasers and it has helped raise money for potential homeowners here.We are so grateful for all of the support pouring from both the St. Regis Hotel and the community. Please come see (and consider buying) some of these great St. Regis Hotel items at our ReStore on Highway 82 between Carbondale and Glenwood Springs.Angie AustinAmeriCorps V.I.S.T.A.Habitat for Humanity of the Roaring Fork ValleyParachute
