Glenwood Springs, CO Colorado
As I serve my last days on the job as a deputy district attorney for the 9th Judicial District, I want to extend my sincere gratitude and thanks to the people who make up this wonderful jurisdiction. It has been both an honor and a privilege to represent the counties of Garfield, Pitkin, and Rio Blanco. It is with a heavy heart that I leave this wonderful town, job, and community for another opportunity on the Front Range. This judicial district is blessed with excellent judges, public defenders, private attorneys, and prosecuting attorneys all of whom work hard to do the right thing, every single day.
I want to extend a sincere thanks to my former boss, and friend, Mr. Martin Beeson. Mr. Beeson has compiled an incredibly skilled and dedicated group of prosecutors during his time as the elected District Attorney. He is an excellent District Attorney and an even better person. This district is in skilled hands with Mr. Beeson as its DA. I worked incredibly hard to pursue justice and make a positive impact on both the lives of the victims in my cases and the community. I know Mr. Beeson supported me in that regard and I wish him, as well as all of my former colleagues and opposing counsel, the best in their future work. There are rarely any “winners” in the criminal justice system but I know this office has done its best to better our community in a meaningful way.
Wamsely Elementary and Garfield Re-2 Health Services would like to thank the Rifle Lions Club for generously donating an AED (automated external defibrillator) to not only Wamsley Elementary, but also Highland Elementary and Graham Mesa Elementary.
Sudden cardiac arrest strikes more than 250,000 people every year in the U.S., yet only 5 percent survive because potentially lifesaving therapy does not reach them in time. The importance of early defibrillation therapy could make a difference between life and death. Having an AED in our schools could save the life of students and staff members. Rifle Lions Club, you are life savers. Thank you.

I would like to take this opportunity to give a thank you to some business owners for helping to fund the Glenwood Springs Middle School wrestling team this past season.
Thanks to Aspen Insulation, Flores Handyman Service/Construction, Mr. Vac and Lassiter Electric. Without their help, we would not have had a wrestling season. Thank you very much.

No study is necessary to know spring cleanup is worthwhile. Our town has a fresh, clean facelift, and locals have smiles on their faces.
