I wanted to thank everyone who helped make Dundee’s Dog-Wash Fundraiser Aug. 12 such a huge success. The fundraiser was to help offset the cost of my dog Dundee’s vet bills, and I was brought to tears by the massive amount of support this community showed. I am so sincerely grateful for the outpouring of support and love.

With everyone’s help, we managed to raise enough to cover Dundee’s past vet bills, with money left over to cover his continued care.

I would never have been able to pull this off without the above-and-beyond help and support from Laurie Raymond, owner of High Tails Dog and Cat Outfitters, and Tracey Yajko. They didn’t just plan and help with the dog-wash, they have been there every step of the way.

I also am so grateful for Keira Clark, Thomas Dado, Robin Parent, Nicole Vaslopoulus and Jessica Carlson for their amazing help the day of. It would never have been as successful without all of them. Also, the outstanding support from my family and friends has been unparalleled and I truly could never express how grateful I am for every one of you.

A special thank-you to the Post Independent and Kelley Cox for running the event information in Photo of the Day. We are forever grateful.
