I am delighted and honored to announce that Feed My Sheep Ministry has been awarded a grant of $7,500 by Aspen Community Foundation, along with a $2,500 grant from their Baguettes Advised Fund to help support our meal programs.
This grant will be used towards our operating costs and the essentials we provide, such as food, hygiene products, clothing and our Helping Hand Fund.
Feed My Sheep is an established ministry for the homeless and less fortunate in the Roaring Fork Valley and surrounding counties. Administered with love and compassion, we offer encouragement and hope for the future for those who are in difficult situations. If necessary, we provide case management and substance abuse programs, returning many of our clients to self-sufficiency with a high rate of success.
We are celebrating our ninth year in the valley. Our Day Program offers hot showers, laundry, storage, meals and communication services. The Winter Overnight Program houses men, women and families in a safe environment during our coldest months of the winter. On behalf of our “family” at Feed My Sheep, we give a big thank you for believing in us.
