Many thanks to all in the community who came to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Harvest Festival. We really appreciate your support. Again this year, our festival was a huge success. We will be able to donate many dollars back to our community charities, as well as support projects within our own church.

It is a labor of love and we appreciate all of the workers who helped make it a success, too.

The students and staff of Grand Valley High School would like to thank EnCana for sponsoring the Denver Zoo Outreach presentations Oct. 23, 2008. We would also like to thank Amy and Dawn for sharing their expertise and instructional talents with our students. We look forward to having the program in the future. Approximately 120 students were able to experience the staff and animals of the Denver Zoo.

The Right Door would like to convey our gratitude to Jaywalker Lodge for hosting the first annual Jaywalker Golf Open “Serenity Scramble.” All proceeds from this fundraiser were donated to The Right Door.

This event brought together members of the community from the entire Roaring Fork Valley and beyond to celebrate the difficult work being done. The Right Door is a local community nonprofit organization whose mission is to connect people in drug and alcohol crisis with the support they need.

Jaywalker Lodge provides extended care residential treatment for motivated men seeking recovery from addiction in the Rocky Mountains.
