The city of Glenwood Springs Parks & Recreation Department would like to thank everyone for coming out to the community center for our annual Spooktacular Halloween Carnival on Friday, October 31st. To produce the Spooktacular the Parks and Rec. Department joined forces with the Glenwood Springs High School junior class, Future Business Leaders of America, Multi-Cultural Club, and Kids to Kids International from Basalt High School, as well as many other volunteers from around the community. A special thanks goes out to our title sponsors Bighorn Toyota and Swire Coca Cola USA for making this event possible. Also, thank you to our other community sponsors including McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Qdoba, American Furniture Warehouse, Army Factory Surplus, Big John’s Home Improvement, Colorado Mountain Express, Dominos Pizza, Dos Hombres, Fiesta Guadalajara, the Brew Pub, Glenwood Caverns, Glenwood Chiropractic, Grease Monkey, Kalaidoscoops, Mancinelli’s, Ramada Inn, Safeway, Subway, Yampah Spa, Smoothie King, Glenwood Springs Police Department, and Colorado Candies for donating tons of prizes and other goodies.
