Glenwood Springs, CO Colorado

On Dec. 20, Colorado Animal Rescue held the Poochie Poker Run at Sunlight Mountain Resort. It was a bitterly cold and windy day to be fundraising, but thanks to the tireless efforts of CARE volunteers and Sunlight Mountain employees, the homeless animals of Garfield County got some much-needed exposure. We received great donations from local businesses to give to the winners of the event.

We are very thankful to the kind souls at Sunlight Mountain Resort, Roaring Fork Liquors, The Glenwood Canyon Brewing Co., Casual Culture, Zheng, The Book Train, High Tails, KSPN and Jack FM. Without these supporters, we would not have been able to begin this new and exciting event. We also want to thank everyone who attended the event and participated in raising money and awareness for our valley’s homeless pet population.

Whether you are donors, adopters, volunteers or friends of CARE or any other rescue organization, you are the solution, and CARE is eternally grateful for your love and support.
