Neighborhood Watch of Parachute would like to say a big thank-you to Alpine Bank for its generous contribution of $500. This helps us so much in getting out the message that: We Watch Out For Each Other!

Any company or individual contributing $500 or more will have a 6-inch-by-18-inch sign, with their name as sponsor, under one of our 18-inch-by-2-foot Neighborhood Watch signs. There is a limit on the number of signs, of course, so it is a first-come, first-served basis.

Neighborhood Watch Parachute really appreciates this show of support from Alpine Bank. We hope the citizens will personally convey their gratitude for Alpine Bank’s generosity, as well as that of the other sponsors. Watch for the sponsorship signs, and please let the sponsors know you are aware of their support.

Neighborhood Watch hopes to have the signs out soon. We also plan to have activities that will help make the community aware of our goals, and our protective attitude. It is not meant to be intrusive.

By becoming acquainted with the purpose of Neighborhood Watch as well as your neighbors, you will know who belongs and who doesn’t, what is normal activity and what is not, and what to do about it. No one is expected to put themselves in any danger. We have trained professionals for that. However, by all of us partnering together, we can make our neighborhoods and families safer.

Thank you.
