As a local, I consciously try to support fellow local business owners. Recently, I’ve been so wowed by a few, that I feel it worth sharing! Sunshines, a true treasure “off the beaten path” for some, on the daily route for others is worth the stop. Jean opened her edible shop next to Mountain Market on Midland, and our taste buds are so happy. The decor is welcoming, yet mod and today, Three-Mile Creek is the background ionic music. Each experience is a treat in itself, and I am glad to give her my money!

The oh so accommodating staff at Peppino’s, at the VanRand center, have made my life (and others I’m certain) more fulfilled. As a Mom of a growing teen, wife of an active husband, and small business owner, my life is on a quickened pace. On multiple occasions, Curt, Carol, Tommy, Lon, and their crew have served myself and family to supreme satisfaction. So, I urge fellow families of Glenwood to treat themselves to the vast menu at the new location for Peppino’s in Glenwood.

And the dreaded birthday celebration. I like to keep a low count on my many years, and usually celebrate quietly. Friends insisted on dinner this year, and Beau Jo’s was convenient for the table. WOW ! Kurt was so charming, he even allowed our table to choose the style of music for our dining time (we chose 70’s). And forget the loud crew of clapping over to the table, leave that sombrero on the wall, the birthday experience at BJ’s was a fourteener. Yep, a tall chunk of edible decadence with a fitting title, made right on premise. Mmmmmmmmmm.

Please enjoy these life fulfilling libations. If I keep this up, I must purchase a food critic journal, and hire a personal trainer.

In appreciation,
