Words cannot express the deep appreciation the family of Kenny Cline has for every one of you.

Kenny was a huge part of your lives, but most of you did not know any of us until we descended upon you when we heard the news that my brother had died on July 3. We stayed in your homes; you fed us; gave us rides to and from the airport; helped us clean out Kenny’s home; took care of all of our needs, and then you offered your shoulders to cry upon even though you were feeling a great loss yourself.

The Benevolent Order of Elks stepped in to organize the memorial service at the golf course and the wake at the Elks.

To be honest with you, we were in a state of shock the entire week. It has only been since we returned home that we have come to realize that Kenny is really not here.

Although our hearts are heavy, we feel that the entire town of Glenwood is our friend. I am hoping that all of you realize what a gift you are to each other and the world.

Thank you again and God bless you.
