Glenwood Springs, CO Colorado
Local schools start Monday, and once again our community is stepping up to support our public education system.
As we struggle to find the resources we need to provide critical services in our communities, many of us who have worked with kids over the years return to the friends and neighbors we can count on.
For years, Big John’s was the building supply resource that gave as much as possible to our youth athletic teams, local service learning projects and non-profit needs.
This summer was no different. Even as John, Tom and the crew closed the doors on a historical Glenwood Springs business, I received a call asking me to come down to collect any supplies and furniture we could use for our classrooms.
At the height of their business days, Big John’s always gave back to the community. Even on the last days of business, as I am sure emotions were raw, again, Big John’s gave back to the community.
Thank you again John Lindsay, Tom Henderson and crew for your years of service. We will watch for you when your next business opportunity arises.
