The good real estate deals are coming. Real estate prices in the Roaring Fork Valley are falling ” are you ready to get some deals? It is possible to find awesome deals with low real estate prices in the future, but you must be prepared.

The real estate properties that are priced low do not last long on the market, and sometimes are on the market for only one day. If you are serious in adding some good deals to your portfolio you must find an expert in the field.

An expert is dedicated to their job and is knowledgeable in what is out there and knows which properties are about to come up on the market. They are knowledgeable in REO foreclosures, and short sales.

A foreclosure or an REO is a bank-owned property and a short sale is a pre-foreclosure property when the sellers and lenders agree to sells the house for less than what is owed to keep the house from going into foreclosure.

An expert is also an excellent negotiator, which helps ensure you get the best possible price for your money. You can find brokers that are certified negotiation specialists that have had special training in negotiating.

You must also do some homework in advance. Many times when you write an offer on a foreclosure or short sale, along with the offer you must submit a pre-approval letter from the bank or a verification of funds.

Make sure that when you are ready to work with a broker specialist you have the letter ready because when you find the deal you might not have enough time to get the verification of funds or pre-approval letter ready in time to submit the offer, and by the time you get it the property might be under contract.

Once you find your expert partner and have the verification of funds in your hands you are ready to invest!
