Recycle old computers to help GSHS cheers

Glenwood Springs High School will host a computer recycling drive Friday and Saturday, Nov. 4 and 5, to benefit the school’s cheerleaders. A percentage of the recycling proceeds will support travel for the cheerleading squad to district, state and national competitions. Computer recycling is $15, except for all-in-one computers like iMacs, which cost $11.50 to recycle. A laptop will cost $10, a CPU $5, a monitor $11.50 and televisions, fax machines and copiers $.35 per pound. Electronics for recycling will be accepted 3-6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at GSHS, 1340 Pitkin Ave. in Glenwood Springs. For more information, call 384-6075.
