Rendezvous fun to last all weekend
The Rifle Rendezvous runs today, Saturday and Sunday. Events will be held both downtown and at the Garfield County Fairgrounds.
Today ” Downtown: 6 p.m. – midnight. Rifle Street Dance, featuring the Rockinghorse Band and Musica Grupera by Diluvio, and food vendors. 8:30 p.m. Greetings by the mayor and city council members, the Great Rifle Take-off.
Today ” Garfield County Fairgrounds’ indoor arena: Afternoon through closing, Brown’s Amusements carnival rides. 5:30 p.m., opening ceremonies, start of Fiesta de Vaquero, beer garden opens, We Believe a cappella group, and the Crystal Crackers. 7:30 cowboy poets and music show. 11p.m. beer garden and indoor arena close.
Saturday ” Downtown: 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. Trading Post Flea Market featuring Boy Scout Troop 223, carnival games, food vendors. 1 – 1:30 p.m., Garfield County Regulators Shoot-out and Safety Demonstration.
Saturday ” Fairgrounds Indoor Arena: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., vendors, kids korner, children’s art gallery, exhibitors. 9:30 – 10 a.m., Buffalo Bill Boycott Presentation. 10 – 10:30 a.m., American Legion Color Guard with Kelly Hansen Post #78. 10:30 -11:30 a.m. Mountain Ramblers. 11:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. Garfield County Regulators. 12-1 p.m. Academy of Dance. 1-1:45 p.m., Kids Korner Junior Rodeo. 1:45 – 2:30 p.m., Buffalo Bill Boycott – Louis and Clark Expedition 2:30 – 3 p.m., We Believe a cappella group. 3-4 p.m., Mountain Ramblers. 4 – 4:30 p.m., Garfield County Regulators. 7 p.m. Indoor Arena Closes.

Sunday ” Fairgrounds Indoor Arena: 9 a.m.-4 p.m., vendors, kids korner, Children’s Art Gallery, exhibitors. 8:30-10:15 a.m., Church Service. 10:30-11:30 a.m., Bio Con Migo Dancers. 11:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m., Mountain Ramblers. 12:30-1 p.m., cowboy poetry/western music. 1-2 p.m., Bio Con Migo Dancers. 2-2:45 p.m., Garfield County Regulators. 2:45-3:30 p.m., Mountain Ramblers. 2:30-3 p.m., We Believe a cappella group. 4 p.m., Indoor Arena Closes.
