Reva Lucille Farris

Reva Lucille Farris of League City, Texas, died Wednesday, June 4, 2003, in League City after a two-year struggle with ovarian cancer. She was 55.

She was born Sept. 24, 1947, in Carbondale to Agnes and Chuck Farris.

Ms. Farris is survived by a son, Greg Hessel of Virginia; by a daughter and son-in-law, Trish Hessel and Brad Knouse; by a brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Dorothea Farris; by sisters and brothers-in-law Sylvia Timmermans of Fort Collins, Emily and Oliver Trujillo of Minnesota, and Doris and Dean Moser of Carbondale; and by many other friends and relatives.



Cremation has taken place.

A memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, at St. Mary of the Crown Catholic Church, on White Hill in Carbondale.



In remembrance, Ms. Farris’ family suggests a donation to the animal shelter of choice. Ms. Farris had an active interest in her son’s Great Danes, Gus and Gidget, and in her daughter’s cats and shar-pei, Bess.
