Reward for info on stolen trailer and snowmobiles

PARACHUTE – Authorities are asking for information about a trailer and three snowmobiles stolen from Parachute.The Garfield County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday the theft occurred sometime between Dec. 8 and Dec. 11 at 14704 Highway 6. The value of the items is estimated to be around $32,000.The trailer is a 20-foot, white Interstate with a Rhino-lined interior, according to the sheriff’s office. Anyone with information leading to arrests or prosecution can remain anonymous and earn up to $1,000 by calling Garfield County Crime Stoppers at 945-0101.

Aspen Santa Fe Ballet to dissolve company, launch fund to support dance

Aspen Santa Fe Ballet is dissolving its dance company, the nonprofit announced Monday citing challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. It will launch the Aspen Santa Fe Ballet Fund for Innovation in Dance and continue education programs in its Colorado and New Mexico dance schools.
