Reward offered in digital sign shooting

Authorities are asking for information in the shooting of a portable digital sign board.The sign was shot between Sept. 27 and Oct. 1 near mile marker 16.3 on Highway 13. An unknown person fired one shot into the front of the digital sign, tearing a hole in its Lexan cover, continuing through its LED panel and exiting through the rear of the sign. The estimated cost of repair is $5,000.Garfield County Crime Stoppers is offering up to $1,000 for information leading to arrests or prosecution in the case.
