RFTA gets $1.9 million grant
The Roaring Fork Transportation Authority received a $1.9 million grant, U.S. Sen. Ben Nighthorse Campbell announced this week. The U.S. Department of Transportation funded the grant, which will go toward improvements to RFTA.”This grant will enable the RFTA to upgrade their facilities for their growing ridership and encourage the residents of the Roaring Fork Valley to continue to use mass transit,” Campbell said in a press release.
