Richard Anthony Turcotte

Richard Anthony Turcotte, 48, of Parachute, formerly of Laurel, Mont., passed away unexpectedly July 4, 2008.

He was born Nov. 16, 1959 to Dr. Ray and Jeane Turcotte in Billings, Mont.

He graduated from Laurel High School in 1979 and married Phyllis Fink in 1980.

They had two daughters.

Turcotte was employed by the railroad in Montana from 1980 to 1996. He then moved to the Parachute area and worked in several different positions.

Richard was a great soul with a big heart. He would give anyone the shirt off his back. He had a special way of letting people know his opinion, and still being able to listen to others’ opinions. He was very wise, and accomplished many things in his life. He will be dearly missed by friends and family.

Richard was very committed to Christ and used the Bible as his guide for life.

He is survived by his daughters Lindsey (Travis) Shanks and Katie Turcotte; grandchildren Katelyn, Mason Tyler and Macayla; sisters Michelle, Claudia, Laurel, Cheryl, Bonnie and Lisa; brothers Tim and Dan, Patrick, Kevin and Shawn; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Turcotte was preceded in death by his father and mother.

Cremation and funeral services were held July 10 in his hometown.
