Richard Eugene Doman

Richard Eugene Doman, of Rifle, passed away Feb. 24, 2005. He was 69.Richard was born July 29, 1935, in Brookfield, Wis., to Walter Doman and Elsie Victoria Johnson. He spent his childhood in Wisconsin.He was a truck driver with Earthworks Construction in Rifle, where he lived for 25 years.Richard was a very kind man and always smiling. Everybody who knew him loved him. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved the sight of a newly plowed field, and liked to watch his children and grandchildren play with their horses. He was a loving father, husband and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Doman, and daughter Dawn Kelley, of Rifle; his son Eric Doman, of Glenwood Springs; mother, Elsie Doman, son Dennis Doman, daughter Barbara Wagner, and brother Alan (Barbara) Doman, all of Brookfield, Wis.; daughter Jacqueline Poblocki, of Hales Corner, Wis.; and brother Kenny (Shirley) Doman, of Princeton, Wis.; as well as six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, numerous special friends, nieces and nephews.There are no memorial services scheduled at this time; cremation has taken place.Memorial contributions may be made to Roaring Fork Hospice in Glenwood Springs and The American Cancer Society in Colorado Springs.
