Rifle police report
Driving without a valid license: An officer stopped a motorist at 9:30 a.m. on June 17 for a traffic violation in the 200 block of W. Third St. Raymond Calvin Wasson, 36, of Rifle was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without a valid license and driving without proof of insurance.
Selling alcohol to minors: Officers cited clerks at four establishments in Rifle for selling or serving alcohol to minors on the evening of June 17. Cited were Sandra Jewell, 45, at WingNutz, Yvetta Wanner, 65, at Rocky Mountain Liquors, Robin Ericksen, 21, at Shale Country Liquors, and Javier Vejar-Avila, 32, at the Winchester Night Club.
Violation of a court order: Officers were called to a noise complaint in the 2400 block of Pioneer Way at 2:30 a.m. on June 18. Officers contacted five people at the party. Kimberly Brown, 21, of Silt was found to be drinking in violation of a court order, and was arrested and taken to the county jail.
Driving under the influence: Officers were notified of a suspected drunk driver in the 100 block of East 10th Street at 8:20 p.m. on June 18. They contacted motorist Jason Eric Flynn, 38, of Silt, and arrested him on suspicion of reckless driving, driving without a valid license from a previous alcohol offense, driving without proof of insurance, driving with an open container of alcohol and driving under the influence.
Warrant arrest: Officers responded to an assault that occurred in the 400 block of Railroad Avenue at 4 a.m. on June 19. One of the suspects ran, but was soon apprehended. Officers discovered that he was wanted on two warrants. They arrested Harley Weldon Hamlin, 20, of Rifle on the warrants with added charges of underage drinking, felony assault and obstructing a police officer.
Warrant arrest: Eleen M. Tinker, 48, of Silt was apprehended on a warrant at 11 a.m. on June 19 in the 1300 block of Em Avenue.
Warrant arrest: Officers contacted a suspicious vehicle on Highway 13 at 12:30 a.m. on June 20. A passenger in the vehicle, Brandon D. Jensen, 25, of De Beque, was found to be wanted on a felony warrant, and was arrested.

The Glenwood Hot Springs Lodge experienced vandalism in the form of significant water damage after a man removed a pipe valve with a fire extinguisher flooding four hallways. The lodge however remains open and operational.
