Rifle wrestler appears in Denver court

DENVER ” Rifle High School star wrestler James Conrardy appered in Denver County Court Friday morning for a second advisement hearing.

Conrardy, 18, was charged Wednesday for unlawful sexual contact with force, a class 4 felony, after allegedly touching a 15-year-old girl in a Denver Hotel room on Feb. 22, after the state wrestling tournament.

Conrardy allegedly entered the girl’s room and touched her against her will.

A preliminary hearing was set in the case in Denver County Court for June 18.
