Road construction worker struck and killed in Colorado

BRIGHTON, Colo. (AP) — The Colorado State Patrol says a 51-year-old construction worker has died after being hit by a vehicle.

KMGH-TV reports that the patrol says Sean Keller, of Lakewood, was a flagger at a project in Adams County when the worker was hit about 2:50 p.m. Wednesday.

The victim, who was employed by a private company, was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Police say the 64-year-old driver of the vehicle involved in the collision stayed at the scene and was not hurt.

The incident remains under investigation.
