The Roaring Fork School District announced they have hired a new Chief of Human Resources and Talent in a news release on Friday.
Amiee Brockman, a 20 year RFSD veteran, will begin her new responsibilities on June 13, the release states.
“Aimee’s depth of educational experience and demonstrated leadership success shone throughout the interview process,” RFSD Superintendent Anna Cole said in the news release. “Perhaps even more importantly, throughout Aimee’s tenure in the Roaring Fork Schools, her commitment to student achievement, staff wellbeing, and continuous improvement has fostered trust and confidence in her as a leader.”
Brockman has been with the school district since 2003. From classroom experiences like teaching and instructional coaching, to administrative roles like assistant principal and most recently Principal of Crystal River Elementary School, Brockman has seen the education system through many different lenses.
“I look forward to collaborating with the Human Resources Department and the district leadership team to advance our strategic priorities of Operational Excellence and a Thriving Team. With a long history in Roaring Fork Schools, I bring a deep understanding of teaching, learning, and the connection between the work in our schools and the district office. My goal is to support all district staff to ensure our human resources practices help every team member thrive,” she said in the release.
