Robert C. Marshman

Robert C. Marshman, of Rifle, passed away Oct. 16, 2009 at the Grand River Medical Center. He was 85.

Robert Clayton Marshman was born Feb. 29, 1924 in South Bend, Ind., the son of Robert Clayton and Ruth (Mechling) Marshman. A dental technician throughout life, he served his country in the United States Army during World War II where he was stationed in Okinawa and on Guam.

On Aug. 9, 1980 he was united in marriage to Lola Allmon.



He was preceded in death by his parent and stepson, Rois Johnson.

He his survived by wife, Lola; daughters, Kay (Jim) Frye of Port Charlotte, Fla.; Karin Hutchinson of Ind.; son, Robert C. (Rhonda) Marshman, Jr., of Broomfield; step-daughter, Donna Crawford of Silt; two granddaughters, Jamie and Jessica.



At Mr. Marshman’s request no services will be held. Cochran Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.
