Robert D. Coloroso

Robert D. Coloroso, 75, of Rifle, passed away Sept. 3, 2007, at Valley View Hospital. Robert was born Jan. 30, 1932, in Paxton, Neb., to John and Florence Coloroso. He had been married to Sharon Brehm for 25 years. Robert was a local businessman for 35 years. He loved to fish and hunt. In his final years, Robert received great enjoyment and companionship from his dogs and family. He is survived by his wife; sons Bryan Coloroso, Tony Lohr and Nick Lohr; daughters Gail Smith, Colleen Coloroso, Marian Coloroso, and Janice Fuller; brother Alan Coloroso; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his son Craig Coloroso. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Rifle. Interment will take place at Rose Hill Cemetery in Rifle. The family requests memorials be sent to Valley View Hospital Critical Care Unit and the Care Animal Shelter.
