Rob was born Dec. 6, 1949 in Sibley, IA, and passed away peacefully Oct. 27, 2010 with his wife Becky and several dear friends with him.

Rob is preceded in death by his father; Robert F. Streit and his father-in-law; James A. Rudy, and brother-in-law Timothy Rudy. He is survived by his wife Becky, children; Sabrina (Brian) Rogers, Kevin and Alison. His mother Barbara, brothers; Dave (Sheila), Joe (Lori), Pete (Karen), Phil and Andy (Judy), sisters; Rose (Matt) Wallace and Julie VanErp, mother-in-law Joyce Rudy and sister in law Cinda (Rick) Dahl.

Rob was one of eight children raised on a family farm near Stacyville, IA. He graduated from Loras College in Dubuque, IA. Most recently he was employed at the Colorado River District as a Sr. Accountant, where he worked with many friends.



Rob’s love of nature included; hiking, biking, hunting, skiing, walking Andy and sharing these activities with Becky. Rob loved sports, especially tennis and golf where he developed many life-long friendships. Rob was very committed to his children, their well being and happiness. He loved and enjoyed sharing time with his family at the lake in WI.

The memorial service will be Monday Nov. 1, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the First



United Methodist Church Bethel Chapel at 824 Cooper Ave in Glenwood Springs.
