Robert L. Arnold

Robert L. Arnold, formerly of Basalt, died Friday, March 28, 2003, at his home in Phoenix. He was 70.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 1, at 11 a.m. at Mountain View Church, 2195 County Road 154, Glenwood Springs. Senior Chaplain Edgell Pyles will officiate. Burial will take place at Rosebud Cemetery in Glenwood.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 8-9:30 a.m. at Farnum-Holt Funeral Home in Glenwood.



Mr. Arnold was born Oct. 6, 1932, in Glenwood, to Edith Williams and Kenneth Arnold. He married Gloria Cerise June 10, 1951, in Basalt.

He was self-employed as a rancher, and was involved with United States Team Roping.



Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Sandy and Steve Rieser of Carbondale, brother and sister-in-law Richard and Pat Arnold, sister Betty Halford of Glenwood Springs, granddaughter Kelly Negel of Phoenix, and numerous nieces and nephews.
