Rolling readers thanks

Dear Editor,

I, along with the teachers, children and parents who have participated in the third summer of Rifle’s “Wamsley Reading Roadster” program, would like to publicly thank those who have helped keep the program “rolling”! The “Reading Roadster” is a mobile library that visits five different neighborhoods in Rifle every Tuesday afternoon throughout the summer. The kids say, “Thanks because we like all the books and the prizes and the popsicles!” and “It has been so much fun!” Teachers feel it has played a significant role in keeping students reading through the summer months.

Please join us in thanking our sponsors for their generous contributions: Colorado Mountain College of Rifle, Colorado Custom Cycles in Rifle, Columbine Market of Rifle, City Market of Rifle, and the Garfield Re-2 School District.
