Ronald Boomhower passed away July 19. He was 84.Born in Swanton, Vt., he was a decorated veteran of World War II, Korea and the Vietnam conflicts.He loved a good joke with his many friends and flirted with all the girls. Ron enjoyed fishing all over Colorado.Later in life, he developed a passion for Colorado Lottery scratchers. He was incredibly lucky.A great family man, he is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; daughter Hyacinth; daughter-in-law Wendy; sons Charlie, Jan and Ray (Mary); granddaughters Olivia and Lizzy; grandsons Roman, Brett, Sam and Riley, all of Colorado; and sister Betty, of Swanton.
