Rose R. Chase, 87, died Feb. 16, 2005, at Mesa Manor Rehab in Grand Junction.She was born in Cardiff, to Pete and Domenica Bianco.Rose was a homemaker. She lived in Glenwood Springs for 59 years; Vancouver, Wash., for three years; Oak Harbor, Wash.; and, finally, in Grand Junction for the lfinal 21 years of her life.She was a a charter member of Eagle Aerie Auxiliary 215 in Glenwood Springs for 57 years, and also was a REAC member for 20 years.Survivors include sons Michael Chase, of Grand Junction, and Ronald (Cathy) Chase, of New Castle; a daughter, Rhonda (John) Spurr, of Seward, Ark.; a sister, Anna Wilson, of Glenwood Springs; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Earl W. Chase; brother, Thomas Bianco; and sister Mary Maben.McLean Funeral Home in Fruita will be in charge of cremation. As requested, there will be no services.
