Ruth Louise Click

Ruth Louise “Weeze” Click of Glenwood Springs died Saturday, Sept. 21, 2002, at Glen Valley Care Center in Glenwood Springs. She was 87.

She was born Feb. 12, 1915, in Newton, Kan., to Owen and Ruth Tate Sutter. She grew up on a ranch. She married Owen Thad Click. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Click lived in Glenwood Springs for the past 40 years. She was an active member of the Elks and Eagles clubs. She loved reading, and wrote book reviews for various organizations.



Mrs. Click worked as a desk clerk and night auditor for the Hotel Colorado, and was very interested in the history of the hotel.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruthanna Easterday; a son, Paul Heiserman; and three brothers. Mrs. Click is survived by brothers Lawrence T. Sutter and Paul Sutter; and grandchildren Rita Louise Smith of Jacksonville, Fla., Terrill Smith, Barbara Richards of Ohio, and Kenneth Easterday of Wauwatosa, Wis.



Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at Rosebud Cemetery in Glenwood Springs. Farnum Holt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
