Samual “Shmual” Jeffery Jones, 14, passed away Dec. 18, 2007, in Deming, N.M.He was born Sept. 1, 1993. Samual loved all things wild, creatures great and small, and had a never-ending thirst for knowledge. He enjoyed the challenges of learning five languages including Hebrew, and studied every inch of the outdoors that he could. Samual loved the freedom of his ATV, and the wind on his face.Samual is survived by his father, Robert Jones of Glenwood Springs; mother CA Jones of Deming, N.M.; stepmother Elizabeth Jones; and step-siblings Amber, Cody and Haden Frye of Glenwood Springs.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Stephen’s Catholic School, 414 S. Hyland Park Drive, Glenwood Springs, CO 81601.A memorial mass will celebrate Samual’s life at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, at St. Stephen’s Church in Glenwood Springs.
