Sand was about to be removed

Dear Editor,

To the coward who spread sand on the windshield and hood of my vehicle on Wagon Wheel Circle in New Castle.

If you took exception to the pile of sand next to curb by my driveway, could you not have knocked on my door and discussed it in civil terms? Obviously not.

The damage has been done. It would have been gone in the next day or two and has only been there since Friday afternoon – I have proof of delivery.

Two of my neighbors also wanted some of it for various projects.

But it’s quite obvious you would not understand the concept of being neighborly.

It will be gone this evening (June 3) and the neighbors will find it necessary to have additional sand delivered. I’ll be sure to warn them not to have it unloaded curbside. Kind of a neighborly thing to do.
