Sarah Megan Johnson

Sarah Megan Johnson died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004. She was 34.

Unable to walk or talk, she radiated unconditional love and joy with her eyes and smiles. She will be missed by countless friends and family.

Sarah was born Oct. 1, 1969. She lived in Carbondale with her parents, Bob and Patricia Johnson.



Sarah is survived by her sisters B. Sue, Jan, Jill, Judith, Beth and Jennifer; brothers Patrick and Matthew; in-laws Kimara, Rick, Michael, David, Frank and Leslie; nieces Gesche, Britta, Annika, and Hillary; nephews Levi, Nazeem, Daniel, Morgan, Noah, Devin, Robin, Nicolas, and Samuel; and great-nephew Lamar.

Sarah was buried at the Lama Foundation. A memorial service will be held at St. Benedict’s Monastery at 1012 Monastery Road in Old Snowmass at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21. A potluck will follow. Please bring a dish. All of Sarah’s friends are invited to attend.
