Sarah (Sally) Frances Dunning

Sarah Dunning, 43, of Tampa, Fla., died unexpectedly on Sept. 3, 2005.

She was born Jan. 23, 1962, in Miami Shores, Fla. She moved to Highlands, N.C., where she lived and graduated from high school before attending the University of North Carolina.

Later, professionally, Sally traveled throughout most of the world, making many friends worldwide. She returned to the United States, living in Glenwood Springs before moving to Melbourne Beach and then Tampa.

She is survived by her mother, Priscilla Barker Dunning, of Land O’ Lakes, Fla.; father John Louden Dunning, of Melbourne, Fla.; brother Judd Dunning, of Los Angeles; sister Holly (Roger) Pihl and children, Tracy and Robby, of New Castle; aunt, Barbara Wilson of Buffalo, Wyo.; uncles Ken Dunning, of Highlands, N.C., and Lon (Christine) Whitner and sons Joseph and Patrick, of Sarasota, Fla.

There will be a memorial at 10 a.m. Saturday, at the Church of the Lakes, 2530 Wilson Road, Land O’ Lakes, Fla.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church of the Lakes building fund.
