Saturday, August 25, 2007: A Day in the Life of Garfield County
Glenwood Springs, CO Colorado
Taking photographs is one of the tremendously satisfying things in life. Now with digital photography, there’s a more immediate satisfaction to look at your work.
To snap a photo and eventually see that image is very special. A photograph captures a moment in time. Freezing that moment and allowing us to return to it again and again, enjoying it over and over.
That’s what makes photography so special and why snapping photos is such a satisfying act.
Once again, residents embraced A Day in the Life of Garfield County. Sending photos of virtually everything under the sun and a few things under the moon, and yes, a few shots of the moon.
This year, the section is a little smaller than usual, and that’s disappointing. I’d love to publish every single photo we received but we have some restrictions when it comes to the page count of our products.
If you don’t see you photo in the section, look on http://www.postindependent.com. We hope to publish as many as we can in this section and online.
Enjoy, and thanks for taking part.
